Umar Sikander

Education and training

Umar studied Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Lahore Medical and Dental College affiliated with the University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. Umar is also certified in Dry Needling, Kinesio taping, Intra Articular injection therapy, and chiropractic Adjustment.

Experience

Umar worked in a 650-bed hospital recognized by AO Spine Switzerland
(The First Spine center in Pakistan) for more than 6 years, in both inpatient and outpatient
departments. Here Umar gaining experience in treating sports injuries, Neurological disorders, spinal cord injuries, and congenital problems. Umar's expertise and interest lie in treating patients with all kinds of musculoskeletal problems.

Treatment method

Umar is passionate about treating his patients to improve their quality of life and return to their optimum functioning. His method is based on the latest evidence by using Manual Therapy, Joint Mobilization, Soft tissue release, Stretching, Strengthening, dry needling, and Kinesio taping according to the patient’s needs.

Outside the practice

Umar loves sports, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He plays Cricket, soccer and loves kite flying. He is also enthusiastic about learning new skills and keeps up-to-date with new research.
