Meet Our Team
Mel is an experienced chiropractor with post-graduate qualifications in sports chiropractic, dry needling and Active Release Technique. Her experience is in sporting and occupational injuries in all body areas, such as tennis elbow, wrist, ankle and shoulder injuries. She has taught dry needling internationally and other techniques locally. She is constantly learning new skills to help her patients achieve better outcomes.
Maryam studied Physiotherapy at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam. Prior to that, she received a BSc degree in Physical Education and Sport Sciences and an MSc in Special Needs Education from Tehran Azad University. Maryam is also qualified in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates.
Remedial Massage Therapist
Magda is Australia trained Remedial Massage Therapist and Integrated Bodywork Practitioner and has over 12 years of experience, working with athletes and dancers in Australia and overseas.
In the last few years, her practice developed into a comprehensive style combining very effective techniques that can provide immediate relief to acute pain and can greatly improve chronic musculoskeletal problems.
She combines Deep Tissue Massage with Trigger Points Therapy and Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Exercise Therapy, and Clinical Aromatherapy.
Michael holds a Post Doctorate in Chiropractic Neuro Rehabilitation. This qualification gives Michael the skills and knowledge to fulfill his special interest in dealing with more complex cases, particularly patients that experience the neuromusculoskeletal presentations of balance disorders, dizziness, vertigo, and migraines.
Umar studied Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy with Distinction. After graduating, he gained more than 6 years of experience at the Spine Centre recognised by AO Spine Switzerland.
He specializes in Musculoskeletal, Spinal, and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation. Umar is available Monday to Friday afternoons and evenings as well as Saturday mornings.
Laura’s treatments are tailored to each client to restore optimal function, while easing and eliminating muscular pains. Having completed her studies at Victoria University, Laura enjoys using a methodical approach to treatment - helping clients to understand the role of each targeted muscle, and prevent further injury. Her favourite areas to study are functional anatomy and the science behind pain.
Kinesiology & Reiki
Petra is someone who understands the need to maximise your potential and fulfill a quest for a healthier you. She has worked extensively with cancer patients and has fought personal health issues until finding a focus losing over 20% of her body weight and maximising her health and well-being through Reiki & Kinesiology.
Lauren Le Fevre
Accredited Practicing Dietitian
I’m Lauren and I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD). APDs have the qualifications and skills to provide expert nutrition and dietary advice. Diet influences all aspects of health, both physical and mental, through a series of complex mechanisms. Using knowledge of these and realistic, practical strategies my goal is to support and encourage clients to nourish themselves back to health. Eating for health and joy is achievable and I love being part of that journey!
Malcolm is a highly experienced AHPRA registered psychologist who has worked and lived in Australia, the UK, The Netherlands and the US. He brings a uniquely collaborative approach to his work with clients. Malcolm is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and as a former Chair, he is a Chartered Life Member of the Division of Counselling Psychology with the British Psychological Society.
Chronic conditions, pain and injury management are particular areas of interest for Eden and she says that “helping people from all backgrounds and walks of life drives me in my profession. Working with people with varying levels of disability and fitness levels keeps the work interesting. I thrive to connect with my patients, gaining a deeper understanding of where they are at”.
