What is Chiropractic?
About Chiropractors/ Chiropractic
Our Chiropractors are experienced with numerous conditions. They are trained to treat neck pain, back pain and muscle tension associated with a vast number of conditions. Docklands Health Chiropractors are trained to refer patients to other professionals when necessary to get the best patient outcome for the individual. Our goal is to remain patient-focused as we believe this is the best way to serve the Docklands Chiropractic community.
Chiropractors have traditionally focused on “spinal alignment’ and used techniques in order to best serve their patients with the overall goal of improving spinal health. In recent times, a new wave of healthcare has come to the forefront and now most Chiropractors are coming around to the inevitability that is basing their treatments off of scientific evidence and patient preference. As with any health practitioner Chiropractors must continue to develop their learning and understanding of the human body as science improves every day.
Dr Carla Cerra
Carla has had a passion for health and the human body from a young age. Through participation in sports she managed to injure herself at times and found herself under the care of many allied health practitioners. Through her treatments her interest in natural health and helping others grew. This lead to her studying Chiropractic at Uni where she graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of applied science (Chiropractic).
