Sarah brings with her over 10 years of experience in Remedial Massage. Since qualifying in Melbourne in 2008, she has worked in various clinics here and interstate. Whilst in Sydney, Sarah honed her skills working in a multi-disciplinary clinic alongside Chiropractors, a Sports Podiatrist, a Natural Nutritionist and Yoga/Pilates’ instructors.
Prior to Massage, Sarah had a successful career working in both the Corporate and Public sectors so she understands firsthand the pressures of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Sarah believes in the importance of ‘time out’ and brings a nurturing element to all of her treatments.
In 2010, Sarah trained in Myofascial Cupping which can assist in reducing fascial adhesions and maintaining soft tissue function. Sarah deepened her interest in fascia by attending an Anatomy Trains Workshop run by Tom Myers in 2011. More recently Sarah has completed a Kinesiology Rocktape Course and a Dry Needling Course. Sarah combines all of these modalities into her individually tailored treatments. She is registered with Massage & Myotherapy Australia and all of the major Health Funds.
Over the years it has become clear to Sarah that access to quality fitness and strength training is something her clients would benefit from. For this reason, she is currently enrolled in a Certificate IV in Personal Training which Sarah aims to finish in 2020.
