General Questions
How much does a do your healthcare services cost?
We don’t hide any of our fees for our services, you can see all our fees by clicking HERE.
Chiropractic Visits?
Chiropractors take a history of your condition, this helps them decide if they can help. If they can they will proceed with a physical examination to determine what is the cause of pain or problem. Following this the Chiropractor will most likely perform some treatment to attempt to give some releif.
Do I need to book in advance?
For your convenience it is always recommended that you book in advance. However, a quick call to see if you can be squeezed in doesn’t hurt!

I've hurt myself, what do I do?
If you have a medical emergency it is always best to call 000 first or visit your nearest Emergency Department. For non-emergencies you can call us for advice on the best health service to utilise.
Can I use my private health insurance?
Depending on your private health fund you may be covered for some of our services. Usually chiropractic, physiotherapy and massage can be made as part of your extras on private health. You will need to speak to your private health care provider if you are unsure

Do you have a private healthcare HICAPS machine?
Yes. For the connivence of our patients and customers we offer on the spot claiming of your private health through our HICAPS machine.
What if I'm running late?
At Docklands Health we understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise making you late. So as not to disadvantage other patients if you are running late your treatment time may be cut short.
What do I bring to my first visit?
Please bring any previous medical imaging, scan results, doctors recommendations and health insurance cards.
Can I get a medication prescription?
Unfortunately no. Medical Doctors or GPs can give medication prescriptions but no one in our clinic.
Do you take walk ins?
While it isn’t encouraged we do accept walk ins and will try to fit them in if we can.
What if I forget my appointment?
We utilise a email system to remind you about your appointment. Missing one appointment can be tolerated but missing multiple appointments may result in denial of future appointments.
What are your appointment times?
Since we have a few different practitioners working under the same roof our appointment times vary. Please check our Book Online page to find out when our individual practitioners are available. However, 9am-5pm are our regular opening hours.
What is your cancellation policy?
For convenience and out of respect we ask that all cancellations be done at least 12 hours before the appointment. Appointments cancelled within 2 hours of the appointment time may incur a late fee.
Medical Certificates?
We do offer medical certificates for those who need it. Only some of our practitioners can offer these and it will be their discretion if it is granted.

Chiropractic is an alternative form of allied healthcare. Chiropractors graduate as Doctors from university level training and are qualified to assess and treat some musculoskeletal conditions and refer to other healthcare professionals when required.

Pilates is an exercise that is avialable to people of all sizes, ages and atheltic capabilities.
Podiatry
Podiatrists are able to access the feet and make decisions on what you need to do to maintain foot health
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy combined high atmospheric pressure with high levels of oxygen to increase the amount of Oxygen in your body to aid healing and health.
